Aunque en tumblr no he puesto mucho de ellos, los que me conocen saben que me encantan Rage Against The Machine y Renegades of Funk es, de largo, uno de mis temas favoritos del grupo. Lo que no sabía yo hasta hace muy poco es que la canción original no es esta, sino la que publicaron Afrika Bambaataa en 1983. Y no es que esa suene mal, de hecho está muy bien y tiene su puntazo ochentero casi cutre que mola, pero intentar competir contra la guitarra de Tom Morello, el flow de Zack de la Rocha y el nunca suficientemente valorado bajo de Tim Commerford no lleva a ninguna parte. Ah bueno, también tenemos a Brad Wilk, pero casi nadie se acuerda de él.
